Our need $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars) for the next six months to be able to continue at our present level of operation.

Part of this money will be used to rent a building which those who need temporary accommodation after release from prison can use until they can find their feet again in the society. We will cater for their daily needs such as food, clothes and help them find employment.

We expect two missionaries from The United States of America to come to Nigeria in January or February 2007 to inaugurate the Patmos Christian Academy (a branch from Patmos Christian Academy, Vermont, U.S.A.) at the prison. We shall pay for their tickets and some other expenses.

We need medical personnel, (doctors/nurses) to go into these prisons and offer treatments and or medical checkups for these boys at no costs.

Teachers who can go into these prisons on volunteer basis will most definitely help these boys in various subjects. This brings us to textbooks which are needed for the Nigeria curriculums.

Mentors: We can use genuine believers as mentors for these boys and to be as role-models. These can be male and females mentors. Many parents refuse to visit the children once in prison.

We need employers to employ released inmates.

Prayers: We cannot emphasize enough how much of this we need for all missionaries, the boys and the governments of the countries we operate in. Light of the Soul Ministries are in places where religious difference sometimes turn violent but we must go there because we are sent there.
